Sustainable sneaker brand Veja is bolstering its circular fashion credentials by partnering with aftercare platform Prolong to introduce a new tech-enabled after-sales service.
The move, which rolls out across France with plans for global expansion, will give Veja customers access to a seamless and transparent repair journey, allowing them to track every step of the process, from drop-off to re-delivery. It forms part of the French sneaker brand’s long-standing mission to prioritise repair over replacement, extending product life and embedding circularity into its brand DNA.
The service was soft-launched in March and is expected to manage all of Veja’s after-sales requests in France by the end of the year. According to the brand, more than 50,000 pairs have already been repaired since it began investing in in-house aftercare.
“We wanted the repair journey to feel as smooth and thoughtful as the purchase itself,” said Daniel Schmitt, Head of Repair Operations at Veja. “With Prolong, our customers can track every step of the process with full transparency and confidence.”
Founded in 2005, Veja is a French sustainable sneaker brand that is based on the foundations of environmental responsibility, fair trade and transparency. Veja sources natural rubber directly from seringueiro communities in the Amazon rainforest to save on water, energy and harmful emissions.
The partnership brings together Veja’s purpose-led values with Prolong’s B2B SaaS platform, which enables fashion and lifestyle brands to consolidate repairs, returns, refunds and product care into one experience across channels and markets.
Tanguy Frécon, Prolong’s CEO, added: “VEJA is proving that the future of fashion happens after the sale. By investing in circularity and customer relationships, they’re building a model that’s both responsible and resilient.”
